The DuoFrame iOS app is the "App"; our marketing website duoframe.app is the "Site". By using the App or Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy alongside applicable mandatory rights in your jurisdiction.

2. Information we process

App (iOS). DuoFrame is a camera / video creation tool. Depending on your choices and iOS permissions, the App may access or use:

• Camera and microphone, to capture video and audio during recording sessions you start.
• Photos Library, where you explicitly choose to import media or export finished recordings subject to Apple's permission dialogs.
• Locally stored media and project/temporary files saved on your device as part of normal app operation unless you delete them.
• Subscription status via Apple StoreKit — we do not receive your full payment card details from Apple (Apple processes payments).
• Technical / diagnostic data (such as anonymised crash diagnostics or aggregated performance metrics), if enabled through Apple-provided tooling or similarly privacy-preserving telemetry you consent to via the App or OS.

We design DuoFrame so that captured content stays on your device unless you intentionally export, share via another app, back up via iCloud, or enable features that imply upload to a third party.

Website. The Site may process standard technical data sent by browsers (such as IP address, user-agent, referrer, language, and timestamps) for security and operation. Marketing pages hosted on reputable infrastructure may also aggregate traffic statistics in line with usual cloud hosting practices — where optional analytics are used we seek to minimise personal data retention.

3. Purposes and lawful bases

We process the above data to:

• Provide DuoFrame recording, editing preview, overlay, modes, teleprompter, and subscription features;
• Maintain security, prevent abuse and fraud;
• Comply with law and lawful requests;
• Analyse aggregated usage trends to improve the product (excluding unnecessary identification of individuals where reasonably possible).

Operating from Hong Kong, we handle personal data in line with applicable requirements such as Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). Where GDPR or other extraterritorial rules extend to visitors or users abroad, additional rights notices may supplement this policy upon request via info@duoframe.app.

4. Retention

Content you create resides on your phone until deleted by you or your device/OS. Server-side records (if any, e.g. subscription validation through Apple) are kept only as long as needed for service and legal compliance. Website logs are rotated per infrastructure defaults.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers who host the Site, process email, or provide infrastructure strictly on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the public.

6. International transfers

If data is processed outside Hong Kong (e.g. cloud regions), we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

7. Children

DuoFrame is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital consent age in your jurisdiction). If you believe we hold a child's personal data improperly, email info@duoframe.app.

8. Rights and requests

You may send access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability (where feasible), or other requests under PDPO/applicable privacy law to info@duoframe.app. We may verify identity proportionately before granting requests.

9. Cookies (Site)

The Site operates mainly as static content. Minimal functional cookies/session storage may persist if CMS or infrastructure sets them — we minimise non-essential tracking.

10. Updates

When we materially change this policy, we revise the date above and publish the new policy on duoframe.app. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance unless law requires broader consent steps.
